Exploration for possible buried iron oxide-associated copper-gold deposits along the eastern side of the Middleback Range, in two now relinquished licence sub-areas in the vicinity of Iron Knob, has consisted of the acquisition and processing of part of a regional, 874 station gravity survey by contractor Haines Surveys during August-September 2005. Gridded gravity data for 190 new, now open file stations read at a nominal 2 km x 1 km spacing was imaged and interpreted by Minotaur Exploration in conjunction with merged prior geophysical information. A single weak gravity residual high anomaly was identified in the southern sub-area, but it is regarded as having poor exploration potential.
