Half of EL 3100, comprising the north-eastern and southern parts of its original extent across the northern Gawler Ranges bordering the adjacent shores of Lakes Harris, Gairdner and Everard, has been relinquished by the licensee after an interpretation of existing and newly acquired semi-regional 2 km x 1 km spaced gravity data (the latter comprising 94 stations read in 2003) failed to generate any significant potential iron oxide - associated copper-gold type gravity signatures. An investigation of the uranium prospectivity of inferred Tertiary palaeochannel sediments was also commenced, but the licensee's uranium exploration interests have now been divested into a separate company, Toro Energy Ltd.
