No geophysical anomalies of interest to the newly created Red Metal - PlatSearch joint venture consortium as possible iron oxide - associated copper-gold (IOCG) targets were interpreted to lie within the five now relinquished portions of EL 3197 (in total area representing 32% of the original licence extent). Consequently, no field work was conducted on any of this ground. Investigation continues into the IOCG prospectivity of regional gravity and magnetic anomalies situated within the three separate retained portions of the subject licence. An initial, semi-detailed gravity survey was acquired by Red Metal during November 2004, covering the as yet untested Dolores East prospect located within the southernmost sub-block of EL 3197, where 205 new stations were read on a 100 m x 400 m grid.
