A small licence area located approximately 75 km north-west of Tarcoola was explored for possible economic Pt-Ni-Cu-Ti-Cr mineralisation formed in magnetic, layered mafic/ultramafic intrusive rocks, and for shear-related vein-type gold deposits in older Archaean granitic basement. Work comprised a review of past geophysical and geochemical results, the collection and assaying of 39 fine fraction stream sediment samples, and attempts to involve a joint venture partner to help fund RAB drilling through interpreted shallow Mesozoic cover, to test the bedrock around the magnetic anomaly in the centre of the licence and an area of Mo-Sb stream sediment anomalism in the south-east of the licence area (probably associated with a Hiltaba Suite pluton). As no such venture interest was forthcoming, the licensee determined that further sole risk work was not warranted, and so allowed the ground tenure to lapse.
