Limited RAB drilling (in 5 of 8 vertical holes for a total penetration of 611 m) across a DeepLeach II regolith zinc anomaly that straddles the licence boundary of adjoining ELs 3123 and 3140 failed to encounter any mineralisation or elevated downhole trace metal values. The surface zinc enrichment is attributed to supergene weathering processes, and the weak IP anomalism to lithological and mineralogical variations within the bedrock shales.
