Exploration of an area located in the south-eastern Kanmantoo Trough aimed to discover a giant stratabound sedex, skarn or sandstone-hosted silver-lead-zinc-copper deposit by drilling into previously untested stratiform and low amplitude or reversely polarised magnetic anomalies, that were being interpreted as possible pyrrhotite-rich metasediments associated with such forms of metalliferous deposit. Following this exploration concept, available magnetic data was re-interpreted, and this process identified a previously untested magnetic anomaly considered to be prospective. However, no drill test was conducted on the subject licence after negative results were obtained by the joint venturers from their drilling of similar targets on nearby EL 3635.
