A detailed helicopter-borne aeromagnetic survey was conducted by Flinders Diamonds over the Springfield Basin region during 2008 in a search for buried kimberlite pipe and dyke magnetic targets. The survey was flown at a nominal height of 30 m, with a 100 m line spacing, over targets areas selected from open file company and government airborne magnetic survey interpretations. A subset of the licensee's helimag data that originates from the now relinquished 58 square km area has been released to the public domain.
