Exploration for possible Neoproterozoic sediment-hosted, unconformity related buried uranium deposits within a synclinally-exposed area of reduced Warrina Supergroup siliclastic rocks, 160 km north of Adelaide, followed a concept that such deposits could have been emplaced with structural control at the boundary between two major basement terranes, close to regional-scale transform/thrust faults. Exploration consisted only of a desktop study of available radiometric and geological data, followed by a field inspection and the portable spectrochemical analysis of 22 rock samples. Results were not encouraging to further work.
