An area located about 110 km east-southeast of Marree was taken up initially to explore for possible economic silver and base metal mineralisation, but the scope of the search was later broadened to include assessing the prospectivity for primary and secondary uranium deposits. Only limited work was done, comprising a literature review, geophysical data studies, two brief site visits, made in lieu of planned more extensive and detailed field activities that allegedly were hindered by legal and physical land access constraints, the taking of ground scintillometric readings at four selected radiometric anomalies, and the collection and geochemical analysis of 15 surface samples. A planned helicopter-borne aerial EM survey of the entire licence was not performed before the company decided to surrender tenure.
