In a search for giant stratabound sedex, skarn or sandstone-hosted silver-lead-zinc deposits possibly formed within the Cambrian Kanmantoo Trough 115 km south-east of Adelaide, the licensee re-interpreted available magnetic data for the Kanmantoo Trough and Padthaway Ridge, targeting low or reversely polarised magnetic anomalies which might be indicative of high pyrrhotite or pyrite content in the rocks that it was theorised could potentially be associated with such deposits. Several such anomalies were outlined ahead of planned drill testing, but due to disappointing results obtained from recent drilling of similar magnetic anomalies on Red Metal's adjoining licences to the east, it was decided to cease further work and to surrender the ground.
