A planned detailed ground gravity survey across the licence area on southern Lake Torrens (780 readings to be taken at 500 m x 500 m station spacing) did not eventuate due to delays in preparing and gaining stakeholder approval for a satisfactory Declaration of Environmental Factors. The licensees decided not to seek renewal of tenure for EL 3823 beyond 1/7/2009, although the DEF was approved on 20/7/2009. No field work was therefore conducted on the licence area.
