Olympic Dam style iron oxide - associated copper-gold mineralisation, plus other epithermal type base metal and uranium deposits that may possibly have formed in Palaeoproterozoic basement, were the targets of exploration in an area located 80 km east of Coober Pedy. During 2001, project farminee Anglo American conducted a regional ground gravity survey comprising stations read on a 400 x 800 m grid across the subject licence. The digital raw gravity data acquired at 85 stations located on the now relinquished portions of the licence area is presented in the subject report. A subsequent geophysical consultant's interpretation did not identify any potential IOCG targets in these portions. No further field work has been carried out there since that time.
