Seven talc occurrences containing an estimated 63,000 in situ tons of potentially commercial grade talc have been discovered in the area between Billy Springs and Mount Livingston. Further prospecting of the host dolomite outcrop, and shallow subsurface testing of these occurrences by bulldozer trenching, is now proposed.
