An area located approximately 60 km west of Marree was taken up to explore for possible economic roll-front style sedimentary uranium mineralisation formed within the Bopeechee Palaeochannel, which drains strongly disrupted Adelaidean metasediments, volcanic tuffs and mafic intrusions of the Willouran Ranges, and may also drain known uraniferous rocks of the western Mount Painter Inlier. No field work was conducted during the term of the licence. Preparation of an information memorandum, negotiations with a potential joint venture partner (Ludi South Australian Mining Pty Ltd), and enacting due diligence on the tenement, together with a search of the Aboriginal Heritage register, were the only activities undertaken. Salisbury had proposed undertaking an airborne electromagnetic survey and limited aircore drilling upon the successful completion of an IPO by its parent company, but due to the Global Financial Crisis the parent company did not list, and thus was unable to raise sufficient funds to undertake the proposed exploration. Due to the lack of funds and a failure to attract a joint venture partner, combined with the need to rationalise its tenement holdings, Salisbury Resources decided at the end of Year 2 to allow tenure to lapse.
