Exploration of an area located approximately 80 km east-southeast of Oodnadatta for possible economic, buried Broken Hill or Cannington type Pb-Zn-Ag mineralisation hosted by inferred prospective basement metasedimentary and metavolcanic rocks, has consisted of a review of available regional geophysical information and a geological interpretation of the geophysical and scant drillhole data. Previously unprocessed survey infill gravity data acquired by PIRSA in 2007 as an extension of the PACE Initiative - funded Northern G2 [Lineament] Corridor Regional Gravity Survey (from 337 stations read on a 1 km x 1 km grid) was processed by the subject licensee and interpreted for the first time. Possible banded iron formations and amphibolites, as well as intrusive igneous structures and evidence of complex folding, were provisionally mapped, and a zone of inferred IOCG style alteration was indicated by the gravity response on the eastern side of a large, pre-deformation buried granite complex that is centred in the western part of the licence. A planned detailed, 100 m line spaced aeromagnetic survey that was intended to help delineate targets for exploratory rotary mud/diamond core drilling did not eventuate before the licence was surrendered.
