Follow-up work to previous, Department of Mines and company geological mapping, ground geophysical and geochemical surveys and wagon drilling in the vicinity of abandoned copper mines on the Mount Lyndhurst Diapir, has consisted only of limited reconnaissance stream sediment geochemical sampling over the hitherto unsampled "South Breccia" area. Two planned diamond drillholes to test for possible sulphide mineralisation lying below 500 feet depth at this locality did not eventuate due to lack of funds.
