Exploration for possible economic IOCGU mineralisation formed within buried Mesoproterozoic basement, and for sandstone hosted or roll front style uranium deposits formed within Mesozoic to Cainozoic sediments, which has been carried out over the now relinquished area located approximately 55 km north-east of Andamooka, has consisted only of the acquisition and interpretation of a ground-based gravity survey seeking to identify potential drilling targets. 582 of 1271 gravity stations were read within the relinquished portion of the licence, but interpretation and modelling of this new gravity data, along with the reprocessing of available State Government gravity data, failed to produce any compelling targets.
