In the continuation of a regional search for secondary, roll-front style sedimentary uranium deposits that may have formed near the south-western margin of the known Gawler Range Volcanics subcrop area in the vicinity of Streaky Bay, the licensee conducted a helicopter-assisted semi-regional gravity survey during January-February 2008, before commissioning a geophysical consultant's review of prospective magnetic and gravity anomalies identified on the project tenements. Targets for possible palaeochannel-hosted uranium mineralisation were generated by the review, and were included with targets from other nearby tenements for prioritisation and planning of further work (either more detailed geophysical coverage, or reconaissance drilling). However, no more field work took place before the decision was made to allow tenure of the licences to lapse.
