An area located approximately 140 km south-east of Oodnadatta and 50 km north of William Creek was taken up to explore some inferred highly prospective gravity and magnetic anomalies flanking the Davenport Inlier on its eastern side, which geophysical data inversion modelling had suggested showed features consistent with well developed magnetite/ haematite alteration systems associated with IOCG- style mineralisation. A prior interpretation of data obtained from PIRSA's recently completed 2007 PACE Northern G2 Gravity Survey had identified a WNW trending linear gravity response, with no co-incident magnetic expression. This was considered to be analogous to the geophysical situation found at Prominent Hill, where a gravity response outlined the haematite alteration. At Four Hills, the fuzzy magnetic signature seen along a WNW-trending zone, which coincides with the gravity response, was considered to arise either because the cover thickens abruptly in a narrow, linear graben, or because the basement rocks in that zone are non-magnetic. A detailed ground gravity survey was conducted over the majority of EL 3764 by Haines Surveys during April 2008, when 689 gravity stations were read at intervals of 100 m and 200 m along 16 lines spaced 2 km apart in an irregular grid, in order to obtain data to use to assess the width and depth of the interpreted graben. Processing and first pass interpretation of this gravity survey was completed for Integra Mining by Southern Geoscience Consultants. An information memorandum was prepared in order to attract a joint venture partner to advance exploration on the project, but no industry interest was forthcoming, and so tenure was allowed to lapse.
