In an area located near the western shoreline of Lake Eyre North, approximately 60 km north of William Creek, part of a new regional gravity survey was undertaken during July 2007, with 601 stations read at a station spacing of 500 m in order to complement existing surveys and achieve regional coverage of the entire tenement. This gravity survey revealed one 9 mGal residual anomaly which was of interest to Minotaur in its search for economic IOCG style mineralisation, however, the interpreted depth to basement and the presence of a major artesian Mesozoic aquifer were regarded as significant impediments to pursuing further exploration activities. Consequently no further work was done on the subject licence during Years 2 and 3, before a decision was made to surrender tenure.
