Reconnaissance stream sediment sampling conducted over the two subareas of EL 2377 (56 & 87 samples respectively) indicated only low level gold and base metal anomalism. On-ground geological examination of prospective magnetic anomalies and stratigraphic units did not disclose any evidence of alteration, and no significant mineralisation was seen to be associated with the target BIF horizons. Therefore the subject licence was surrendered because of perceived diminished prospectivity.
