An area located approximately 33 km east-northeast of Coober Pedy, and lying in the northern part of the Gawler Craton near the southern margin of the Mabel Creek Ridge crustal element and to the north of the east-trending Karari Fault Zone, was explored for possible economic epithermal/hydrothermal IOCG mineralisation. Work conducted during the reporting period consisted of an appraisal of available geophysical data, and forward modeling of basement rock density and magnetic susceptibility. Following this work, it was concluded that the licence area has relatively low prospectivity for finding an an IOCG-style mineral system, and that the company's efforts should be focussed on other parts of its Coober Pedy Project acreage. The licence was therefore surrendered.
