An area located approximately 70 km west of Port Augusta has been explored for possible economic epithermal gold-silver (lead-zinc) mineralisation, similar to that which had earlier been located in outcrop within Proterozoic Corunna Conglomerate on Tasman Resources' adjacent EL 3307 to the south-east. New work addressing this aim has consisted only of an office compilation and review of previous exploration data, plus a brief field reconnaissance of the tenement geology. No outcropping Corunna Congloomerate was seen on the licence area, and no mineralisation or alteration was found in outcropping younger volcanic rocks, so no rock samples were collected for analysis. When possible Tertiary palaeochannel sediments were detected in the area, Tasman Resources arranged with a related company, Fission Energy Ltd, for that company to undertake limited uranium exploration work on the subject licence. 5 shallow vertical percussion holes with a total penetration of 95 m were drilled in the western half of the licence, but no prospective sediments were encountered.
