As part of exploration for possible buried Proterozoic IOCG-U deposits in two small licence areas located approximately 50 km east of Marla, the only work carried out in the now relinquished licence portions was part of a gravity survey designed to delineate density anomalies within the Nicholson regional magnetic anomaly, a feature which is thought to possibly represent an eroded volcanic complex. The relevant digital gravity data and contractor's report are herewith released to open file. A positive residual gravity anomaly of 10 mGal was detected in February 2009, but does not occur within the dropped ground.
