As part of a broader exploration programme targeting possible economic sedimentary, roll front - style uranium mineralisation formed in buried palaeochannels within the Mesozoic Eromanga Basin along its western margin, approximately 115 km north-east of Marla, the licensee carried out part of a 9345 line km combined airborne TEM / magnetic survey during June and July 2007 which covered the entirety of both subject licences, looking for any sinuous conductive bodies in the Algebuckina Sandstone which could constitute drillable palaeochannel units. No EM responses of this type were detected, perhaps because of masking by the overlying conductive Bulldog Shale.
