A licence consisting of two land portions located respectively 48 and 74 km east of Lake Frome is being explored for possible economic sandstone-hosted Tertiary palaeochannel uranium similar to known deposits found elsewhere within the Callabonna Sub-basin sedimentary fill. No on-ground work has yet occurred on this tenement area : following a desktop review of the available geophysical data and previous exploration drilling results, which gave a favourable interpretation of the local structural and stratigraphic setting, the company has been involved, along with others active in the region, in liaison with Geoscience Australia regarding participation in the Commonwealth Government's planned Frome Embayment Airborne EM Survey. This survey has only recently been flown, and has included infill coverage acquired for Callabonna Uranium over EL 4224 at 2.5 km flight line spacing. However, the licensee has yet to receive the processed data it sponsored, for its use in delineating preferred drill targets.
