Exploration of an area in the central Gawler Ranges lying north of Mount Ive Homestead for possible economic buried IOCG style uranium, base metal and gold deposits has consisted of a review of past exploration data and the planning of a surface sampling geochemical exploration programme seeking to identify evidence of hydrothermal alteration related to structural features and interpreted demagnetised zones. No priority drilling targets were identified by initial desktop studies. The proposed field work did not eventuate before a decision was made to surrender tenure.
