Exploration for copper mineralisation within a now relinquished licence portion centred 10-15 km north-west of Eudunda was aimed at finding deposits of oxide and carbonate ores similar to those mined historically at Burra and Kapunda. Work performed was the collection of onsite portable XRF analyses of 1212 soil samples, and the making of a bedrock solid geology interpretation, generated from available and reprocessed geophysical data. It was decided, on the basis of this work, to relinquish the least prospective eastern two-thirds of the tenement.
