Exploration done on the now relinquished eastern and southern bounding parts of EL 4726, which lie close to the north-western shore of Lake Gilles, consisted only of a subset of regional reconnaissance soil sampling (68 samples taken on a 1 km x 1 km grid, with some infill to 100 m spacing). Generally weak anomalism was seen across a range of pathfinder elements, and this gave no encouragement to do further work.
