Section 10 of the Petroleum and Geothermal Energy Regulations 2013 require a licensee to prepare an Environmental Impact Report (EIR) detailing the environment of the area included in the scope. An EIR must identify any events associated with the activity which could foreseeably arise and pose a threat to local environment. This EIR covers ground based geophysical exploration activities within Petroleum Exploration License 182 in the Cooper Basin of South Australia. Of note, this EIR includes activities undertaken in the Coongie Lakes Management Zones.
