As part of exploration for possible buried economic IOCGU type mineralisation formed within the structurally complicated basement region lying north and north-east of Marla, a detailed ground based gravity survey was conducted for the licensee during May-June 2012 by Atlas Geophysics, with programme co-funding provided from the South Australian Government’s PACE 2020 Initiative. The Marla PACE Gravity Survey final report was submitted to DMITRE in June 2012. The survey focussed on the" Todmorden" target area, where it is thought that the basement has been thrust upwards to an accessible depth (~400 m). A total of 2249 gravity stations were read during the survey, initially spaced on a 1 km x 1 km square grid, with subsequent infill readings taken at 500 m x 500 m and 250 m x 500 m station spacings. Only 11 gravity stations were located within the now relinquished portion of EL 4659. Their gravity data showed no anomalous results. The survey operations report and the relevant data subset are appended to the subject partial relinquishment report.
