Exploration for possible Archaean to Mesoproterozoic basement-hosted epithermal gold or base metal mineralisation of Ernest Henry or Tunkillia style was undertaken over an area extending ~35 km north and north-east of Poochera on north-western Eyre Peninsula. Five potential drill targets were identified from an interpretation of regional gravity and aeromagnetic data, related to inferred buried Hiltaba Suite granitic intrusions and associated major crustal structures. The only field work performed on the subject licence area was a short geological reconnaissance visit, and the collection of 3 rock chip samples for assay. No anomalous results were returned. Recommended acquisition of a ground EM survey to commence investigating the sedimentary uranium prospectivity of local sections of the Tertiary Narlaby Palaeochannel did not progress before tenure was allowed to lapse.
