Exploration Licence 2677 “Langhorne Creek” is held by Terramin Australia Ltd as a part of its Fleurieu Exploration Joint Venture Project and is located north of Lake Alexandrina on the eastern flank of the southern Mount Lofty Ranges. The tenement is situated on the eastern edge of EL 2162, which contains the Angas base metal prospect, which forms a major focus of the Fleurieu Project as well as being used as a model for exploration on the other tenements within the group. In the reporting period to 2nd December 2000, work on the tenement consisted of re-examining of recompiled available aeromagnetic and radiometric data to determine exploration targets with the tenement area. Learnings from the Angus prospect were reviewed and for regional application. No substantial field work was completed.
