The western 138 square km of EL 4815 has recently been relinquished. No field work took place on this acreage. Only minor desktop investigations were carried out by Lincoln Minerals on the now relinquished ground, due to other project priorities, and comprised: - a compilation and review of past geological, geophysical, geochemical and drilling data; - a study of water well data to determining cover sequence thickness, to aid exploration drillhole design; - preliminary aeromagnetic modelling and interpretation, to generate exploration targets. EL 4815 is prospective for a large range of polymetallic minerals, but is considered by Lincoln Minerals to be highly prospective for iron ores (both haematite and magnetite).
