The northern sub-block of a small licence located immediately to the west of the Olympic Dam Borefield Road has recently been relinquished due to its perceived diminished prospectivity for finding possible IOCG type base and precious metals mineralisation. The only work of importance carried out that has relevance to the subject relinquished area was a consultant's geophysical modelling of the basement responses present in available regional magnetic and gravity data, an exercise conducted in tandem with similar modelling for data from the adjoining EL 4405 Ferguson Hill (now surrendered) to the east. The relevant report on his results is herewith released to open file.
