The stated exploration strategy for the Joint Venture's Eyre Peninsula Project tenements (that are still extant) is to explore predominantly for gold and copper, with uranium as a secondary focus. Regional programmes of calcrete geochemical sampling are being used to identify anomalies that can then be followed up with RAB drilling. Further RC and diamond drilling may take place where RAB drilling results prove positive. Within the now relinquished area of EL 5120 Corrobinnie, 114 reconnaissance calcrete samples have been collected by Adelaide Resources on a regional 1.6 km x 1.6 km grid pattern. Only one of the samples was anomalous in gold, but later infill sampling done in its vicinity failed to confirm the original result or to disclose additional anomalous gold or other trace metals, so the original anomaly was disregarded as being spurious [Note: relevant digital geochemical data is not provided with this report]. Uranium exploration joint venturer Quasar Resources did not identify any potential for finding sediment-hosted uranium mineralisation on the subject relinquished ground, and no geophysical surveys or drilling were conducted there.
