As part of a regional brownfields exploration programme addressing the potential for discovering buried economic Olympic Dam style IOCG mineralisation, a desktop study was undertaken for the subject tenements which included the compilation and analysis of data transferred from previous operators during the tenement acquisitions, as well as that obtained from government sources. From information contained in these new datasets as well as in existing BHPBODC data, a preliminary targeting exercise was undertaken. No suitable targets were identified that warranted follow-up.
