A number of peripheral parts of the subject licence, in all comprising 54% of the originally granted area, have recently been relinquished by current holder Terramin, as part of the management conditions applying to the company's multi-licence exploration project under the Amalgamated Expenditure Agreement made with the SA Government. The only exploratory field work undertaken on the now relinquished ground was the drilling by North Ltd during December 1995 of a single vertical RAB hole to 65 m depth at Giles Flat, with no geological information recorded, and much later on, the collection and BCL assaying by Terramin during October 2007 of 21 surface sediment geochemical reconnaissance samples, for which the resultant data are now placed on open file.
