Brownfields exploration for possible buried economic Mesoproterozoic IOCG type mineralisation within a licence area located ~45 km west of the Olympic Dam mine has consisted only of the interpretation of available geophysical data. Additional airborne geophysical coverage was planned, but issues with gaining ready exploration access within this part of the WPA, and the lack of already identified targets then prompted a decision to fully surrender the licence.
