Three contiguous licences covering a large remote area south of Marla have been explored for possible buried palaeochannel sediment - hosted roll-front style secondary uranium deposits analogous to the Beverley, Honeymoon and Four Mile deposits of the Curnamona Craton. It was believed that a significant Tertiary palaeochannel extends from north to south through the tenements, and over a long period has drained past subsurface groundwater flows coming from the uraniferous basement of the Musgrave Block and western Gawler Craton. During the first licence year, no field work was done. Activities were restricted to doing desk-top studies of past exploration reports and geological data, and processing available magnetic and radiometric data. A geological review of uranium prospectivity was conducted by Alan Maynard and Associates for inclusion in the proposed Salisbury Resources Limited IPO. Issues of obtaining permission for on-ground access to the Tallaringa Conservation Park and the Woomera Prohibited Area were cited as hindering progress. During licence Year 2, the licensee prepared a Declaration of Environmental Factors (DEF) and an Exploration Work Program (EWP) to inform negotiations with the state government about getting land access. Negotiations to obtain a Deed of Exploration required for allowing work to happen within the Woomera Prohibited Area were set in train with the Commonwealth Government Department of Defence. Research was continued into documented palaeodrainage models and regolith geomorphology. During licence Year 3, another DEF was prepared specifically to cater for risks associated with undertaking aircore drilling within the Tallaringa Conservation Park, and this was submitted to PIRSA in March 2011. No further work was done in the next two years, before it was decided to allow tenure of all of the project ground to lapse at licence expiry.
