Two separate blocks of ground together covering 32 square km or ~36.4% of the former area of EL 5234 have been relinquished. No field work was done by Perilya on these blocks: the only activities were a desktop geological data compilation, and the purchase and inspection of regional Aster multispectral satellite imagery. Interpreted outcrop within the relinquished portions of the licence is thought to consist primarily of significant thicknesses of Quaternary cover rocks, plus some minor exposures of Proterozoic siliclastic metasedimentary rocks. No Cambrian Hawker Group limestones or dolomites, the primary hosts for zinc silicate mineralisation, are believed to lie near the surface there.
