No work was undertaken on EL 4530 Western River Cove during the whole 4-year term of its tenure. EL 3088 Western River was purchased from Havilah Resources by Monax Mining in July 2005, and formed part of Monax’s package of tenements included in the company's Initial Public Offering of shares and its subsequent ASX listing. During the 11-year term of this particular licence, exploration work conducted on EL 3088 and subsequent ELs 4154 and 5312 consisted of reading a 1 km x 1 km grid spaced ground gravity survey in 2006, the acquisition of a 100 m flight line spaced aeromagnetic survey in 2007, and acquisition of a small corner of the detailed 25 m flight line spaced helimag/rad survey conducted in 2010. The relevant contractor reports and data for these surveys were released to open file previously, as part of the activity reporting process of making a first partial relinquishment of the licence on 18/10/2012 [see Env 10946]. No work took place on the licence after this time.
