Three small ground portions totalling 32 square km or ~31.7% of the former area of EL 4550 have been relinquished due to their now perceived diminished prospectivity for sediment hosted primary gold deposits similar to those found in the Wadnaminga Goldfield. Within the now relinquished ground, the licensee collected 9 grab rock chip geochemical samples to send for laboratory assaying, and conducted 56 reconnaissance in situ semi-quantitative portable XRF spectrometric scans of the trace element chemistry of selected soil samples. No significant assay values were returned.
