Exploration for possible economic buried base metal or uranium primary mineralisation that could have formed in Proterozoic metasedimentary and metavolcanic basement rocks within a small area located north-west of Mount Painter consisted only of reconnaissance 1:10,000 scale geological mapping and stream sediment sampling (122 samples assayed). No results of significance were returned.
