As part of a regional search for possible economic base and precious metal mineralisation that may be present within buried Proterozoic basement rocks, work completed within the now relinquished portions of the licence consisted initially of the acquisition of part of an airborne magnetic and radiometric survey and its later data interpretation and on-ground follow-up of indicated anomalies. Three magnetic anomalies with inferred IOCG mineral potential were next profiled with short regional ground gravity survey traverses or using more detailed small 400 m grids, with a total of 38 stations read. None of the readings produced coherent gravity anomalies.
