Two small portions of EL 929 were relinquished during the process of the licence's renewal as a minor part of a revised, larger and more southerly extending different tenement, EL 1194, which has since been granted to Adelaide and Wallaroo Fertilizers on 22/11/1983. Within the now relinquished north-eastern portion of the former EL, four historic small copper prospects were inspected to assess their oxidised ore potential, for possible exploitation by the licensee in conjunction with its Burra mine ore treatment operation. It was decided that none of these copper occurrences were of interest due to lack of a diapiric breccia association, and also the apparent lack of pervasive oxidation of the host shale, which carries only narrow sideritic quartz veins showing traces of copper carbonates.
