Preliminary induced polarization surveying along four traverses laid out across old copper workings at Nackara disclosed a well-defined IP anomaly 1500 feet long and 200 to 400 feet wide, subcropping in the western limb of a large north-east trending anticline. Subsequent geochemical reconnaisance sampling, geological mapping, costeaning of secondary ore showings and diamond drilling of the centre of the IP anomaly (1 hole, TD 404 feet) have failed to prove the existence of economic copper mineralisation in the area.
