A licence comprising three sub-blocks centred ~15 km north-east of Cummins and 70 km north-northwest of Port Lincoln is being explored for a wide range of metallic minerals that may exist as economic deposits in buried basement rocks. The ground has only been sparsely drilled in the past (<10 holes found in PIRSA records). During the first licence year, reconnaissance calcrete and lag sampling was undertaken over selected areas on 500 m x 500 m grid spacing, with 459 samples collected and assayed for a limited suite of pathfinder elements. No significant anomalies were detected. A subsequent statistical analysis of the near-background assay results suggested that some low order base metal anomalism may be present, while a possible northwest-trending uranium anomaly, defined by U/Th ratios greater than 1, appears to exist in the north of the tenement. During the second licence year, a semi-detailed ground gravity survey was conducted over two areas in the west of the tenement, targeting possible haematite mineralisation that may be associated with magnetic units lying along strike from Centrex Metals' Wilgerup deposit. Over the period March to May 2008, Haines Surveys read 2731 stations at 50 m intervals along east-west lines spaced 400 m apart.
