In a search for uranium in Tertiary-Quaternary palaeodrainage systems in the Robinson freshwater basin, water bore groundwater samples were analysed for uranium and copper, but the results were not considered anomalous. Basement outcrops examined did not appear mineralised, and relinquishment of the tenement was recommended.
