6 geothermal were granted to Deep Energy Ltd on 28th March 2008. GEL 311, 312, 314 and 315 occupied the western side of Lake Frome, while 308 was located to the south of the lake and 313 was located to the north east. All licences were granted for an initial 5 year period and a common work program granted allowing the work commitment to be carried out anywhere in either of the 6 licences. Initially 9 drill-holes were planned across the 6 tenements to test the geothermal gradient in the area but only 3 were ever spudded. Peter 1 (252m), Mark 1(240m) and Steven 1(240m) were all drilled in GEL312 but limited data was submitted. All 6 licences expired on 27 March 2013 at the end of the 5th licence year.
